MAYA SOL MACKEY

Maya Sol Mackey is an excited, enthusiastic actor who brings joy and optimism to everything she does. Currently based in the southeast, Maya will graduate with her BFA in Acting from the University of Montevallo in May 2024. If she’s not acting in a show, making short films, or trying to brighten someone’s day, you may find her camp counseling or teaching.

Maya emphasizes the fun in creating, and finding the play in work. She is intensely passionate about her work, and pours herself into each role, committing 120% to any project she is apart of. Often described as a bouncing ball of energy, Maya is sure to fill a room full of energy and positivity. She strives to bring queer representation to stage and screen, focusing on the importance of queer representation in art and radical inclusivity in her work.

Passionate, positive, and powerful, when working with Maya, you are sure to be greeted with strength, kindness, passion, and at least a handful of jokes.
